We believe…
- in one God, who exists in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
- that the Bible is the Holy Scriptures, God’s Eternal Word, inspired, accurate and infallible, our perfect guide and the revelation of Jesus Christ
- that Jesus Christ is both one hundred percent God and man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, led a sinless life, in essence God from God to show and reveal us God, took all our sins upon Himself, died on the Cross and then rose again triumphant over death, hell and the grave. Today, Christ is at the right hand of the Father as our high priest and mediator
- that sin has separated all people from God, and that only through the finished work of Jesus Christ has the world been reconciled to God
- that salvation is a gift freely given to all who come to God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a new life in Christ and this new life produces works pleasing to God
- that water baptism declares our death, burial and resurrection with Christ, and is a testimony of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
- that the Holy Spirit is God, and our Comforter, who brings to our remembrance who Christ is and what Christ has done, blesses us with spiritual gifts, and empowers us to yield the fruit and the works of the Spirit in and through us and to be His witnesses
- that holy communion is a remembrance of Jesus’ death and our identification with Him
- that Christ’s death and resurrection provides for an abundant life for all believers
- that we are called to preach the Gospel, the word of reconciliation, to all nations, and that this is the supreme task of all believers
- in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the final judgment by Jesus Christ according to the Gospel.
